BCCSA’s CCPO Program: Leading the Way in Concrete Pump Safety and Compliance


The BCCSA’s Certified Concrete Pump Operator (CCPO) Program has been making headlines! We’ve been featured in the news for our tireless efforts to ensure concrete pump operators across BC are compliant with WorkSafeBC regulations, spotlighting our program’s unprecedented growth and dedication to industry safety.

Key Updates:

  • The program has ramped up practical exams to 2 per day, 7 days a week to meet demand.
  • Provisional certificates are no longer valid as of November 1, 2024. Operators must now be fully certified or work under the supervision of a certified operator.

By the Numbers:

  • 1,132 written exams have been completed.
  • 700 practical exams have been assessed.
  • In October and November alone, 84 practical assessments were conducted!
