Who course is appropriate for: This course is a guide to safely using dust extractor vacuums to control exposure to respirable crystalline silica in construction. The course is designed for supervisors and NCSO®s and may also be useful for workers who work frequently with vacuums.
Learning outcome: Understand how to ensure that dust extractor vacuums are effective at controlling exposure to harmful dust

Identify the common parts of an industrial vacuum.
Safely empty a vacuum.
